Solar cover question

So it seems that when my solar cover is on and there are three or four days of inactivity, my pool appears to get a dirt on the bottom and up the walls that looks like algae.
The filter and swg are still on for the recommended times during that period of inactivity.
And the numbers are perfect.
Anyone have an idea of what is happening?

Post a set of test results.

The pool might not have the best circulation if all test numbers are inline with our suggestions.

Real odd,I know there is poor circulation it is an intex rectangle.
It looks good afternoon a vacuum but it takes a day of running the filter 24hrs to get back to trouble free crystal?
Just wanted to see if that's out of line.

Search Intex cloudy and you should find some similar cases.

We have 6 grandkids, when 3 or more of them show up I have noticed my vacuming demands go down as well as my heating demands. They agitate the pool and heat it up while agitating it When my pool sits idle I find myself having to vac more.

I have yet another question ,can I have algae on the solar cover and it comes back into the weakly starts to spread again?

And shouldn't I show some cc if there is algae presen?

The cover could have some algae on it. If you have the space try spraying and brushing it with a mild bleach solution and let it completely dry before rolling or folding it up.

Not unusual to not read any CC in summer as sun burns it off fairly fast. You can try testing for it in the early AM, if there is some that is the best time to catch it.
