Cloudy water

My water is cloudy, but my chlorine has been between 5&7 for days. It started getting cloudy yesterday & we were having people over this morning so I put some extra chlorine in it last night, but it hasn't helped. These are my new test results.

How are you testing? Which kit are you using? How do you sanitize your water and what have you used lately?

You need to bring your pool up to SLAM level and maintain it there for as long as it takes to clear up, not just a one time addition of extra chlorine. For your CYA level (which we take as 40) your SLAM level is 16ppm. Here are the instructions to how to SLAM --> SLAM Process

I use bleach, but I used some trichlor tabs last week when we went out of town for a few days. I use tge tf-100 kit for testing

Maybe do an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test to see if there is some organics in your pool. Cloudy is usually bacteria or algae getting a foothold.
