First time green pool

We had a cooler day today with a few drops of rain. Tested the water tonight and it looks like I have nothing to add tonight:

FC: 8
pH: 7.4

The FC:8 is probably not a full 8 since the last drop change the color from a hint of red to clear. But at 8 I am not adding any bleach.

The pH of 7.4 is also good, so I am just going to watch it a few days and see if I need to add anything or not, but tonight I am not adding anything. The TA will be tested if I feel I need to add some MA.

Following are the test results from Friday:

FC: 6

And Saturday:

FC: 6
CC: .5
pH: 7.8
TA: 90

The FC is very predictable now and it seems 16oz of 8.25% is about what is being consumed at this time.

pH is another issue. The pH went up again with the TA now at 90. I was hoping the pH would stabilize by now, but it seems I will have to bring it down more, but will need to watch my TA since it is getting close to the recommended low of 70.
