Intex SWG sensor issue

so I am getting the Low Salt message (even though I know we are not low on salt) and I believe it's the sensor. Why does Intex not make it so that it's just an alarm and doesn't turn it's self off??? Any ideas on how to disconnect the sensor? I hate to have to purchase a new SWG again (lines are buried and such a hassle to have to replace). There is a video on YouTube, however, there is no sound so it's kinda hard to follow. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Wal Mart was closing out their Intex SWGs earlier this week for $50. That's cheaper than a replacement cell if you can still find one.

You can get a replacement cell from Intex if you call them. My last one was $69 shipped, but that was a couple of years ago.
