So above my water line on my 5 year old liner i have about a 4-5" long tear starting right in the corner 
. I'm hoping the isn't the end for my liner right now because we literally cannot afford a new liner as newer home owners. I've tried patching twice (20mm patches) but both times it only holds for a week or 2 then the patch starts separating from the top and bottom and pulling away (almost curling up). unsure on what to do to successfully get a patch to stay in the corner due to the complex shape. thinking maybe trying a larger patch then a 5' section of pool border over top of it?
any remedies to this to ease my mind? right now its not big and i want to nip it in the butt before it spreads..
