Polaris Auto Clear Plus, problems

Well, this thing seems to break every year. Anyone else have one and what has been you luck with it. Need to fix it again but considering replacing it if it breaks again.

Everything seems to be ok with the unit except it doen't produce chlorine. Cell apears to be clean, but going to soak it tonight and see if it helps

I've only dealt with one auto clear and I don't have much good to say about it. Lightning took out the control a few times. When the cell went bad it still looked perfect except for some very minor deterioration on the end of one of the blades.

Also Zodiac now owns it and I'm not a big fan of their support, so there's another reason to move on if the cell is bad.
