Going on vacation

Long time lurker, 1st time poster.

First I wanna say thanks for all of the informative posts on this site. You guys/gals have saved me both money and time.

Here's my question. I'm leaving for vacation Friday and I'll be gone for 8 days. Is there anything special I need to do to my pool/system prior to leaving?

I just had the water tested today and everything is w/in acceptable ranges. BTW, polaris is scheduled for 2 hours every morning.

Welcome to TFP!

You need to provide a chlorine source for the period when you are gone. Do you have a SWG, puck feeder, chlorine floater, or something similar? Or, if you could get a friend to add chlorine regularly that would be better.
