Slow Disolving Pucks

Hello all,
This may have been asked before but here goes,,, Why don't they sell chlorine pucks that do not add CYA to your pool???

You might win the prize for being the 100,000th person to ask that question. Chlorine is a gas it has to be combined with something to make it a solid. So far those somethings are cya, calcium, lithium or salt and water (bleach).

If you're feeling your sciency/inventor side kicking in you'll get rich if you figure out something better.
