My cell is in a clear plastic thing, and so far, it looks as black as the day I got it.
Do you still have to acid bath these things on a regular basis even if there is no NOTICEABLE buildup?
I mean is there something there I can't see that I should be acid bathing this cell?
Just starting my 3rd season with it and have yet to give it an acid bath.
Thanks

As long as you don't have calcium deposits on the blades, you don't need to acid wash them :) If it will make you feel better, you can remove the cell and rinse it with a hose, just to get all that invisible, non scale off them

If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it :hammer: As long as the unit is working and producing chlorine, grab a beer, crank up the Buffett and have a nice relaxing swim 8)
