We have a serious pollen problem (in rural Wisconsin surrounded by cornfields), and I'm spending waaay too much time vacuuming every time the wind blows. (The last windstorm dropped so much pollen that I couldn't get it out fast enough ... didn't think to increase my chlorine level, just kept vacuuming and stirring up pollen and vacuuming etc ... and now we have algae!)
Does anyone with similar pollen problems have a great success story from a specific pool cleaner? I am poised to buy one (hopefully under $500, but that is being revised), but want it to work!
Also: Any hints for getting rid of pollen quickly, before it uses up all the chlorine? I have skimmer socks, which I change twice daily. Any other ideas?
