I am running pump and have a spa attached to pool. When pump running level of water of spa is high and overflow on pool. When pump stops running,level decreases in spa and pool water level gets higher. Could be a pb if not enough water going to skimmer. Is this an issue? Suggestions? Thanks!

There are three basic modes for a Pool with a Spa.
1. Water is taken from the pool, passes through the filter and then returns back to the pool. (Pool Mode)
2. Water is taken from the Spa, passes through the filter and then returns back to the Spa. (Spa Mode)
3. Water is taken from the Pool, passes through the filter and then is returned to the Spa. (Spillover Mode)
Seems to me your Pool/Spa valves are in the "Spillover" Mode
