from chlorine to SWG

we are about to convert our chlorine pool to SWG. i use the poolcalculator and have figured how much salt to add. i am trying to find out the best way to check my salt from now on. i have the lamotte color Q photometer test kit. is there an electronic kit for salt? Or, are test strips good? I don't have a clue which way is going to be the best way to test my salt levels. what does everyone here use?

I use AquaChek White test strips. Got them from:

They are pretty accurate. Calibrated my Poolpilot salt level to them, all season the two match.

Most SWGs have a salt tester built in, though many of them just say high or low rather than giving a number.

If you want to test your salt level, I agree with DaveNJ, get the Aqua Chek salt test strips.

just to clarify, a salt pool IS a chlorine pool. Only the way the chlorine is added has changed. You mgith find this thread handy:
