I added 12 lb CaCl2 as the first stage of adjusting my CH from 150 to 250.
The addition of the 12 lb was done gradually, with spreading CaCl2 dissolved in buckets of water. It was suposed to raise CH to about 200. No clouding was noticed.
After 24 hours of the addition water stil tastes of CaCl2.
I don't recalll this taste last season when CH was 220.
Does it require some time to settle?
