It may be dying or you may have a problem with the seals or impeller. I'd call a local pool shop and see what they charge to come out pull your pump and take it back for a test. Call several shops and compare prices. You can save money if you have sufficient electrical knowledge to safely disconnect the pump and the plumbing.
