These help you know a few things that are going on with each thread.
--A blue box with an "opened" envelope means a thread that you have yet to read all the posts in.
--A grey box with a "closed" envelope means you have read all the posts in the thread.
--A red box with an "opened" envelope means the thread is popular (defined by more than 35 posts or 1000 views) and you have yet to read all the posts inside of the thread.
--A red box with a "closed" envelope means the thread is popular, but you've read all the posts so far.
--A blue box with an "opened" envelope means a thread that you have yet to read all the posts in.
--A grey box with a "closed" envelope means you have read all the posts in the thread.
