Pool math calculator- FC weight vs trade?

Experience in forums, new to TFP. I'm a searcher when it comes to forums and generally only ask when searching results is little to nothing. So needless to say, I searched...

...I'm curious when using the pool math calculator why when calculating FC and inputting 6 or 8% does the next field say "weight?" Then when inputting 12% does it change to "trade?"

What is weight and trade in reference to bleach/chlorine and is it a liquid measurement? I assume it IS a liquid measurement by the next fields provided in the calculator.
