Our AG pool deck

Here is a peek at how we did our AG pool deck. This is our 3rd year with it and I'm glad we did it like we did...under the railing. It could possibly have been 1/2" or so lower, to aid in covering in winter, but it isn't a deal breaker. Solar panels are on the left in the first picture. Thanks to everyone who posted their decks before we did ours, we owe it all to you.

Very nice! Its obvious that careful thought and planning went into your plan and that it paid off beautifully for you! Did you guys build it yourselves or did you have it built for you?

We did the design, and placing of piers, and found a great guy who did all the hard work and then let us do the easy stuff. We replaced the upper deck a year later and he "loaned" us his worker because we did it in the off season. There are people out there who do that stuff, but they are far and few between.

Very pretty deck!!! You must not get frost heave there?

I'm sure we do in Colorado, that is why every post is set on a cement pier poured 3 feet deep. No surface mounts here.
