New member and first time pool owner

Love the site.

Live outside of Atlanta, married (36 years) with 2 kids and 5 grand kids.

We got our first every pool this year - 19,000 gal, fiberglass, 16x38 up to 8' deep. Wish I had found this site prior to purchase, as my knowledge of salt water, maintenance, .. was lacking and relied upon dealer's recommendations.

When you get a chance, please add your pool info to your signature by going to the top of the TFP web page (just under the Pool School button) and select "SETTINGS". On the next page look to the left for a menu bar that says, “MY SETTINGS” and go to "EDIT SIGNATURE" to enter your pool and equipment info there. Or you can click EDIT YOUR SIGNATURE.
