Newbie needs help replacing booster pump

Hello,
This is our very first year with the pool and the booster pump worked fine for about 2 months then started making a sound. We havent turn it on in a week, know we have to do something but dont know where to start. My husband opened it and said everything is rusty inside and thinks we need a new one. Here is a picture. Opinions on what to do please.

You can replace only the motor and not the entire pump. Take it into a pool store and they will match or call Inyo pools and they will match. An electrician or pool service will replace for you.

Is that the cheapest/best option? My husband said even the screws are rusty.. i should have asked him to take a picture
