I've been searching for some posts regarding the maintenance recommendations for In-Ground pool covers. This is my first season with a pool. Our cover rides on rails that are flush with the patio and is rolled up on a spool mounted below the patio when it is open, the motor is also beneath the patio grade. I've noticed quite an increase in noise/strain from the motor as the pool cover is closed this month. Also, quite a lot of squeaking from the rail on one side. A diagonal crease forms towards the rail side that is quieter/more smooth implying to me that some resistance is happening in the squeaky rail...anyways, what is the normal maintenance for such a setup? Oil the motor? Take off the rail covers and flush debris? Oil the track? How often?
Thank you.
Thank you.
