Want to upgrade solar controller

I recently installed an IntelliFlo 3 HP Variable Speed Pump #011018. My solar array is controlled by an old Compool Lx220 Solar Control Sys.
I'm considering replacing the old controller with a new SOLARTOUCH 521590 Control Unit.


Will this controller properly operate the existing valve actuator?

Valve actuators are pretty much universal. Good idea to find a controller that will interface with your new VS pump too.
