Water cloudy

Been doing the ABC method on here this summer and love it. Right now my pool is cloudy and I can't figure out why

I've started slamming it so my readings are

FC 15
CC 0
pH 7.4
Ta 140
Cya 35

I did use tablets for two weeks to bump up the cya as it was well below 30. Could that be why it's cloudy?

I've backwashed a few times this summer too so not forgetting that.

Could it be that your FC go below the minimum for your cya?

Do a OCLT to determine if there is something growing.

Once you are sure about your CYA reading, round it up if at X5 or above (i.e. 35 = 40) so that your FC would be 16. The Chlorine/CYA Chart is designed that way as we don't try to "split hairs" and go in between readings. If you failed the OCLT, then happy SLAMming.
