Issue with CC reading on TFT 100?

New to TFP and after recieving my test kit (TFP 100) I am unable to get the CC reading to work. I follow the below instruction and the solution doesnt turn back to clear. The last test went to 50 drops and the solution seamed to turn a deaper shade pink if anything. Am I missing something? Faulty reagent?

5. To test for Combined Chloramines, add 5 drops of R-0003 to the solution and swirl. If it remains clear, you have no CC’s. If it returns back to pink, add R-0871 as before, counting and swirling between each drop. Once the solution returns clear, multiply the added drops times .5 again…..this will be your CC reading. Record it. The total of FC and CC should be recorded as TC (total chlorine)

You do the FC test...after counting to clear, you then continue with the 5 drops....

Thanks! My problem is the second part of the test never goes clear. I will try adding a larger scoop of the R0870 powder and try to progress through the test a little more quickly. That may be the problem. Could my CC be over 25ppm or is that not possible?

After the 5 drops of R-0003 you are switching back to R-0871 to count the drops, correct? Not continuing to add R-0003?

This is exactly what i was doing wrong. Figured it out the second time through the test. Beginner mistake. CC of .5!
