My socks are yellowish green

The last few days my skimmer socks have turned a yellowish green but my water is clear and no signs of algae in the pool.

My pool is surrounded by trees and wondering if that is pollen in my socks, or the first sign algae?

Sounds like pollen. You can do an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test to be sure.
