HI, I'm finishing up my baquicil to chlorine conversion and I've been using my TF-100 test kit (gosh, that thing is GREAT). here are my numbers:

FC 10.5
CC .5
PH 7.4
alk 20
CH 70
CYA 20

Just for fun I took a sample of my water to the pool store to see how close the numbers were. She just used test strips, but the only thing off was cya, she said I had 30. But she did say my CH was low and I should add about 5 lbs. Does this sound right ? I'm just asking because I don't knowand don't want to be "pool stored"...lol. I have a vinyl liner.

Yeah, vinyl liner pools don't require CH. It's very interesting that the test strips were so good.....even the CYA test was within the margin for error. I would have to say that's very unusual.

(Thanks! I'm glad you like the kit.)
