I recently purchased a short sale home with an ~25000 gallon inground pool w/ DE filter. This is the 2nd year I've owned it and I've finally managed to get all the leaves/debris out (previous owner did not have appropriate cover and apparently hadn't opened pool in some time- the amount of leaves in the bottom was unbelievable!). I've figured out how to work all the plumbing, breakdown and clean DE filter, vacuum floors, etc. I've also managed to get the pool opened myself this year and have gotten it pretty clear. I'm finally at the point where I'm aiming to balance the pool chemistry and that has led me to this wonderful site. Hope to learn a lot and then ultimately contribute to the forum.
