I'm located in the Phoenix area where we're in the midst of another stormy monsoon season. I just discovered this site and have already learned a lot.
I'm on my second pool in about 30 years, we put in this (see sig) one a little over 25 years ago. We put a pebble (actually I think it's glass beads) finish in it about 10 years ago. I have had never had any problems with my pools until this one started acting up a few years ago, mostly algae problems. Thanks to the info here I think I'm on the way to conquering the algae. I'm also having some equipment issues that I'll probably soon be starting a thread about.
At any rate, I'm glad I found this site and looking forward to participating in the forum. Hopefully, I'll have something constructive to add at some point.
