We included the pool with the new home build 4 1/2 years ago. It is an L-shaped, vinyl lined, salt-water, 40,000 gallon pool. We have a RayPak 206A electric start heater, which is why I have joined this site.
Just this week, the heater no longer starts. LCD display is fine. The heater has worked great for over 4 years.
When it tries to start, I hear a single sound that I presume is internal opening of the gas line. The spark sound that typically cycles until the heater fires up no longer occurs. Reading posts, I think this my require a PC Board replacement, but I'm a little surprised the board be the problem if all of the LCD display and the control buttons appear to be fine. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Jim
