I know phosphate levels don't really matter, but I had a question about an unconventional method of lowering them.
I currently have an algae bloom in my pool and the last time I had the phosphate level checked it was 600ppb. My question is can I just let the algae bloom go for a few days in order to digest some of the phosphates before I start SLAMing ? Is this an effective method in lowering phosphate levels? I don't really need to use the pool for a few days.
