I'm looking for opinions on the best and most effective way to add my stabilizer. My method now is to make a slurry and add it to the deep end where the main suction is located. I was wondering if I could pour the granulars directly into the surge tank. Any thoughts?

Initial recommendation deleted - based on residential pools not commercial. I need to defer to someone with experience in your large application.
I think most put it in an old sock and hang it in front of a return jet squeezing every so often.
Thank you. Yes, I do have a large amount to add. I'm usually adding anywhere from 50 to 60 lbs at a time. The surge tank is unpainted concrete, if that helps.
Ok, thank you. My thought was to find a bag big enough and suspended it into the surge tank. There is definitely enough turbulence in the water to dissolve it, especially when the gutters are dumping into it. Being a public pool, there are bodies in there from 6:30am to sometimes 10:00 pm, 7 days a week. I don't have to many options.
Suspended in some kind of bag or lots of knee highs would be fine. You just don't want it sitting on the surface.
