Our pool was just finished a few days ago. They started running the pump and after a couple of days we have this random stream of water coming from a spot between the rock and stone. We have a water feature along the back wall, and this is about 3 feet away from it.
How bad is this? And, how much do you think they will have to tear it up to fix it?

So sorry to see this. That will need to be fixed for sure.

Can you post a picture from father away? It's impossible to tell where that is on the pool, or how they might attempt repairs.

I would guess that the back wall contains a pressurized line running from left to right into the spa (appears a jet is straight in line with the back wall). All depends on how the elevated portion of the back wall is constructed. Likely is all rebar and shotcrete all the way from the bottom of pool up to the top cap, encapsulating the line.

I think the builder can provide the schematic plan and get an inspection camera from the spa jet back to the suspected leak area and limit the amount of demo and repair.

Good luck with this one, but it should be easy.
