TIGERSHARK SCARED OF THE SHALLOW END??

I have a tiger shark robot in my 20k gallon inground. I love it, but it seems to have a fear of the shallow end. It never seems to get one section of the shallow end, but it will clean the heck out of the deep end. I have tried to start it in different places, changed the angle of the handle, and it still seems to favor the deep end...

thoughts?

I have the exact same problem with my Dolphin Robot.
I've just resigned myself to periodically pulling it to the shallow end.
That being said, If my robot was going to favor one area of the pool, I prefer it to be the deep end. (it is much easier to vacum the shallow end.)

update:

i put the adaptor for the output on the top, and it seems to have fixed this...it doesn't climb too high on the waterline now, and that seems to have fixed the pattern.
