Opened my pool this year and everything was fine. Now my heater will not shut off unless you shut the gas off. Is there a way to test the electronic thermostat .

Interesting. How warm has the water gotten or were you just noticing that it doesn't shut off on its own?
Thanks for the reply. Last that I was in the pool, the temperature was approaching 85 degrees and the knobs on the heater were on full. It was when I tried to turn it off is when I noticed it would not shut down. Someone recommended that I look into a new electronic thermostat. I would like to know how to test this one before just buying a new one.
