OK, site prep is pretty much done (pic); Do I need a gorilla mat?

I think you would need something to help keep the liner from rubbing on the concrete and causing a leak. Do you think the pad you have will be enough? I am betting kids will be in the pool. Kids=lots of movement.........it is up to you but you want it to last for a while.

I put mine on paver patio. Last year was my first and while I had a gorilla pad, I tried to cut it too precise and ended up with part of the liner exposed to the cement. I had MULTIPLE tiny holes that I was patching all year. This year, I added a full size gorilla pad along with the one I cut PLUS a tarp. I have had Zero problems this year.
So yes, you need something or the cement can easily cause leaks.
