Hi all. New pool owner here. To be clear, I grew up with an in-ground pool so I wasnt technically "new" to pools and how to maintain one as my father insisted we learn some of the basics to help keep up the pool at home (smart man lol). We finally decided to go for it with a 16 ft round Coleman with an Intex 2800 sand filter and Intex SWG this year. Im loving it and have decided to upgrade next summer to larger pool, perhaps even a larger traditional AG pool. I do have one question and Im not sure where to ask really. The pool I have has the two outlets, I have one plugged and am just running the one into my sand filter. Its working great, but I do have to skim the pool often. I was however wondering if I could/should use the other one that I have plugged and attach an Intex over the wall skimmer to it and use a Y connector to my hoses and then into the filter. Any one know where to point me to get some opinions on and help with this? Thanks in advance for any help.
