Getting there! Still trying to adjust the SWG to not get the FC creeping up on me.

Today I'm trying 65% for 8 hours.

When the kids want to swim at night they like the pump on for the spillover. For those of you with SWGs, do you just turn the chlorinator off but the pump on?

I swam today at FC 9 and just stunk of chloramides afterwards. My suit and my skin. I have no CC in the pool. I wonder why the smell is so strong.

That's very unusual to smell chloramines to any objectionable level up to very close to shock level, and for the majority well above. Some individuals certainly have more sense of smell. It would be worthwhile double-checking measurement procedures.

It's nice that you're above target and have plenty of room to move down.

TA still going down slowly. Fill water is very high so it's a little bit of a battle but pH holds a lot better now. My issue is that FC is still rising every day. I'm down to 35% on the SWG for 8 hours. I would decrease pump time but the family likes it on with the spillover when they swim. I guess I'll just keep decreasing until it holds. Next up. Full filter cleaning!!!
