Intex sand filter/lateral lines Help!

I "accidentally" pulled my lateral lines up out of the sand and need to dump the sand in order to properly place the lines again. Anyone know if it's possible to remove the center tube from the valve to make it easier to dump? Or even if it's possible to remove the lateral lines from the center tube? Having the entire valve assembly still attached is making it next to impossible for me to dump this sand out.

you should be able to use a shop vac and vacuum the sand out then fix and replace the sand
