Finally got a k2006..first test....how is my chemistry ?

I was finally able to test my water. I have a SWG. How is it lookin??


CYA: 70
FC: 5.0
PH: 7.4
TA: 120
CH: 140
Salt: 4000 (this is my SWG manufacture reco)

anything I should adjust? How is it looking?

Look wise, the pool looks clean.

Looks like the only thing missing from your post is how many people are actually in the water at this very moment. Those are very good numbers. Hopefully the water is as clear and those numbers would indicate.

Thanks!! This is my first year owning a pool and on Saturday there were at least 10 people in there most of the day.

I added all the chemicals (mainly CYA) and FC blind just using pool math prior to my test kit coming.. Glad the numbers look good. Was thinking my PH is too low and TA too high.

With swimming and splashing, your pH will raise I'm sure. Your TA is a little elevated, but not enough to worry about right now unless your pH continues to rise quickly each week. Only if your pH rises too fast should you need to worry about your TA.
