IC 40 Trouble

The flow light is solid and the red and green salt lights are flashing. Manually tested salt at 3400. Opened the unit and found nothing in the blades but a rusty colored substance on the sensor. Any ideas?

That is not normal. I think you need a new flow sensor. If it's under warranty I think Pentair will replace the unit. Otherwise, the sensor assembly is a field replaceable unit (FRU).
