Test Kit storage and longevity?

Hi All,
I have been using this test kit for a few years.

How often should the test bottles be replaced? Do they expire?

Where should the kit be stored? The chemicals give off a bit of an odor, so I store it in the garage (which can get hot), is that ok?

Thanks!

Test reagents from Taylor are good for up to 18 months if stored in a cool, dark location. 18 months from the production date. I'm not sure if there are dates on the bottles...

If you order from TFTestkits.net, they use very fresh reagents and they will last the full 18 months if stored properly. I would find a better location to store your reagents that stays cooler. Mine go in a laundry room drawer. Dark and cool.

The chemistry is harmless. put it down the drain.

Just a tiny correction. Taylor warrants their reagents for 12 months. Because TFTestkits has a pretty good pipeline to REALLY fresh reagents, we extend that warranty to 18 months
