I'm new to this and right now just have a cheaper test kit from Walmart (waiting on my Taylor kit). I just ran my chlorine test and I'm not sure what to think. The test part is as yellow as the 5. My question is, how do you test for greater than 5 if that's all your gauge goes up to?
I need my chlorine from 6-9 right now because of my high CYA. I'm still debating weather to do a partial refill or just let CYA come down slowly as I add more water (and rain) throughout the season.
