New Pool Heater Advice

I need to replace my heater and am considering the Hayward H350FDN Universal H-Series, Low NOx, 350,000 BTU, Natural Gas, Pool and Spa Heater

1. Are there any other units I should consider looking at?
2. Does anyone know anything about the quality/reliability of this unit?

1. Raypak/Rheem are often recommended.

2. reliability is very low on the Hayward's from what I've read here. (and costly when they malfunction)

I like the Sta-Rite/Pentair heater mainly due to the combustion chamber being completely enclosed, keeps pests like mud dobbers and spiders from clogging the burner tubes and gas orifices (we have a ton of them in Houston). Be sure to stay as close to the BTU you have as the new heaters are very picky on gas pressure.

I do agree with borjis on the Hayward heaters, stay away from them.

Raypak for the win! Hayward heaters have a high failure rate on their heat exchangers. I also find the Sta-Rite units have issues as well. I see their blower motor failures, keypad failures, mice chewing wires, and on and on.
