Filter Pressure Gauage

Hi everyone,

Bought a used pool. Tried replacing the pressure gauge. I picked up one from the pool store and tried screwing it and and it doesn't seem like the threads are grabbing and I can pull it out fairly easy(even with teflon tape). It's Jacuzzi 192C. Hard to tell if the plastic threads are stripped or the pressure gauge is the wrong size? Anyways the issue is that if this is really stripped on my filter what can I do? I read somewhere I could use JB Water Weld and some fittings to make a new connection point.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
