Appropriate ppm for cya?

Surely this has been covered before but what is the desired concentration of CYA in a freshwater pool using bleach? Mine is currently at 20ppm, trying to keep it as low as possible to maximize the effectiveness of the bleach.

around 40 is what works best for the vast majority of outdoor pools. Lower and you go through a lot more bleach because of loss from sunlight.
