My pb has been an absolute nightmare. He makes promises to send someone out and nobody ever shows time and time again. This time my ig pool was plastered on Wednesday last week and fill was completed in approx. 24 hours. Now the pool has been filed but no chemicals have been added and the pump has not been wired electrically do is not running. I'm worried that the water is going to become difficult to get safe since the water is not circulating and has no chemicals. Is this really bad? How long can it sit before it becomes dangerously unsanitary. I'm new to pools and need advice. Thanks.

Start getting some bleach in there and brush walls and bottom to circulate. Do you have the recommended test kit?

edit: I wouldn't personally swim in a pool I couldn't test, but if it's a super new fill and you get some bleach in there and brush the whole pool it's probably ok.
We tested it Friday and it was fine but I just don't know how quickly it can go bad. Really new, new pool owner.
