Since this is all new to me and I have not had a chance to check out or local Sam's does anyone know if these places carry the Borax, Baking Soda or Washing Soda in large quantities for good a good price?

I'm sure they do.
Depending on your pool size, you prob won't need but one or two boxes of Borax and it'll last you for a while. Baking soda you can buy in boxes up to several pounds even at Walmart so Im sure Sams has bigger boxes.

Sam's used to carry a 10# box of baking soda, and a 2-pack of the large size Clorox. You used to be able to get the generic (wal-mart) bleach for less. This was several years ago, but can't hurt to check!
