Hello all, this is my first pool and I need help. We have a 25ft by 52in chlorine pool which I believe is about 15000 gallons. It is in direct sun for the majority of the day. 1.5hp pump and sand filter.
I had been following my father in laws instructions but they are not helpful. Our numbers are horrible and I think we are getting some kind of black algae stuck to the vinyl liner is spots.
I just brought the TF-100 kit and ran some tests. Even after dumping a load of chlorine in we have none in the pool. I think the sun bakes it out. We have been using pool store chlorine, some Algecide and clarifier. But I stopped using everything once I realized we weren't making a difference. We still have about 10 gal of chlorine.
CH = pink or 325ppm
TA = 200
CYA = n/a, clear water.
I'm not the kind of person to just start doing things for fear I'll make it worse. So any suggestions would be appreciated. If you need any more info let me know.
