Good morning, I recently purchased a used pool and set up for the summer, well when i filled it and went to turn the pump on, at first it hummed and then all of the sudden stopped humming. I really need to get this going, as i have a 3 yr old child with a disability that needs this pool. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. It is an intex crystal clear 635t pump. Thanks.

These intex pumps are often not serviceable. You should be able to find a replacement intex pump for less than $100. Until you are able to replace the pump you can put a little bleach in the water and swish it around with a pool net to mix it in. How large is your pool?
I have a 16' x 48" pool, and i am looking now.. i kinda figured that was going to be the case, but figured i would try and see what if there was anything that i could do... lol, thanks..
As long as you are replacing the pump, go with an upgrade and get the intex 2800gph or 3000gph sand filter/pump combo. It will do a better job of filtering your pool.
