How to set up an Intex pool over artificial grass

We bought a 15x48 Intex pool. And we were planning on putting over our fake grass. (Rental landlord said it is ok). But the grass is sloped gradual down about 4". Looking for the best cost effective and safe way of setting it up. Any ideas. We also have a 14 ft concrete pad but it's bumpy concrete and we would have to add an extra foot and half to fit the pool. Please help.

I have the same pool. It is absolutely necessary for the pool to be installed on a level surface. You could put a tarp down over the artificial grass, put a 4" tall edger around, probably at a 16' diameter and fill it with crusher stone to level.I would think that the pool over the artificial grass would cause mold and mildew to grow on the grass carpet because of condensation and general rain and splash out.

well if you are allowed to put down crusher or a rock dust mix over a tarp & tamp with a compactor or hand tamper, you should be able to level the area. the reason for the edging is to keep the crusher stone in place. check out some of the intex installs at the top of the above ground pool thread. Level is a must though, there would be too much stress on one side of your pool and it could collapse and injure someone, especially 4" out of level.
