Looks like FC went down to 2.5 and CC is still at .5. Booooo

You're getting close! Keep at it. The CC right at 0.5 is OK. Keep that FC up, give the pool another solid brushing today and go for the OCLT again.

I haven't officially started the slam. I wanted to see the advise on raising the CYA first. If I'm understanding the CYA/FC relationship...we can swim during a slam bc the levels won't go above max? I'm trying to understand all of this lol.

Does anyone think I NEED to raise my CYA? I know it's at the bottom end

Raise the CYA to around 30ppm. Then maybe bump the FC to 10ppm and Perform the Overnight Chlorine Loss Test ... although it looks like you will pass and not need to SLAM.

Nice thanks! I unfortunately today has been a nightmare at work, I only juse got home and now I have to go back out. Tomorrow I plan on vacuuming after work, raising the CYA and trying to relax! I'll let you guys know how it goes!

Hey everyone..last update!!

I'm slowly raising the CYA to 30..just put the last dose in that should do it. I've raises the FC to 7 for now and below is the end result of everything! So happy! Thank you guys again!!!.

Absolutely!!!! NJ is in its first heat wave so the clearing up came just in time.
